Specialized Physical Exam

Physical examination is the process of evaluating objective anatomic findings through the use of observation, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. The information obtained must be thoughtfully integrated with the patient’s history and pathophysiology.

Lung Function Tests

Lung function tests (also called pulmonary function tests) include a variety of tests that check how well the lungs work. The most basic test is spirometry. This test measures the amount of air the lungs can hold. The test also measures how forcefully one can empty air from the lungs.

Audio Screening Tests

Pure tone audiogram – both air conduction and bone conduction tests will be performed to determine the degree of hearing loss. Full Speech audiogram – determining what levels of speech is understandable at different loudness intensity levels

Urinalysis tests

Leukocyte esterase is an enzyme present in most white blood cells (WBCs). A few white blood cells are normally present in urine and usually give a negative chemical test result.

Eye/Vision Tests

A visual acuity test is an eye exam that checks how well you see the details of a letter or symbol from a specific distance. Visual acuity refers to your ability to discern the shapes and details of the things you see. It’s just one factor in your overall vision.

Chest X-rays

chest x-ray produces images of the heart, lungs, airways, blood vessels and the bones of the spine and chest. An x-ray (radiograph) is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Staff Wellness Programs

The definition of a wellness program is a program that helps employees stay healthy or – in some cases – helps them improve their health. Wellness program ideas can range from ideas that have a specific purpose, such as helping the employee to stop smoking or to lose weight; to onsite gyms or gym memberships; to incentive programs that provide rewards for participation or in achieving the desired results.
